Well, they announced the new line-up for DWTS yesterday. I am VERY excited about a few and as usual have not heard of a few. Here is what I know so far:
The contestants and their partners are:
1. Kim Kardashian (socialite) - Mark Ballas (Houston boy and defending champ)
2. Lance Bass (NSync pop star) - Lacey Schwimmer (first timer)
3. Brooke Burke (E! News) - Derek Hough
4. Toni Braxton (singer) - Alec Mazo
5. Susan Lucci (soap star) - Tony Dovolani
6. Cloris Leachman (actress) - Corky Ballas (first timer and Mark's dad)
7. Cody Linley (child actor) - Julianne Hough
8. Maurice Greene (track champion) - Cheryl Burke (love her!)
9. Rocco Dispirito (celebrity chef) - Karina Smirnoff
10. Jeffrey Ross (comedian) - Edyta Sliwinska (long legs)
11. Warren Sapp (football player) - Kym Johnson (Aussie)
12. Misty May-Treanor (beach volleyball champ) - Maksim Chhmerkovsteiy
13. Tedd McGinley (actor) - Inna Brayer (first timer)
They brought in Corky Ballas (Mark Ballas is the defending champ who also dated Julianne Hough and Sabrina Bryan) to be paired with Cloris Leachman because she asked for someone closer to her age (eighties). She will be the oldest contestant to be on DWTS. The youngest contestant ever is Cody Linley who I have never heard of, but is on Hannah Montana. I bet Lance Bass will do well because he actually is a dancer. Remember all of the other boy banders: Joy Fatone, Drew Lachey, Joey Lawrence.
DWTS begins on Monday, September 22 with a 3 day premiere...are you kidding me? Even I don't have that much time!
