Jason and I went to an Astro's game two weeks ago. My dad was able to make room for us in his suite and we had a blast. The game was great even though we lost, but my favorite part was the food. Since we did not have to wait in lines or pay for anything we sort of indulged ourselves. This is how it went:
Arrival - Let's have some dinner!
I had one hot dog, wedge salad, and potato salad. Jason had the same, but had an extra hot dog.
During the game - Let's play ball...
Jason and I shared a bag of peanuts because you have to eat those while you watch the game...duh!
Oh, thank you! The hostess brought us a bowl of popcorn. We really didn't want it, but we were out of peanuts and it was in front of us so we did.
Not even half way into the game - "Please place your order!"
Place our order for what? Oh dessert! There is a checklist of what you want on your ice cream sundae and yes, you can check as much as you want. I ordered vanilla ice cream with whipped cream, sprinkles and hot fudge. Jason ordered vanilla ice cream with whipped cream, hot fudge, caramel, butterfinger and walnuts. Dad told us we should share, but then we couldn't create our own personal sundae!
Needless to say, by the 7th inning stretch, we needed a stretcher to wheel us out! Don't cha just love baseball?
Jason and my dad...yes, they accidentally wore the same shirt!
